I'm guessing that this has had to have been covered here already....

In sketcher, when I dimension something, I have to do it twice.  For some reason the first time I click and drag out the dimension, it just disappears and  seems to ack like I didn't do anything.  Then when I click and drag out the dimension the 2nd time it works fine like its supposed to.

I'm a student doing full time CATIA instruction for one quarter and everyone is having the same problem.  The instructor says it just 'one of those things'.

Any ideas?

It's just the dimension place selection. Your first click selects What you want to constraint, second click selects where dimension is positioned. It's really okay after you have used it more than few minutes...
