I have created a VB userform that copies the selection and pastes it into a new part. The user can rename the new part, and select to paste with or without links.

I have also added a checkbox, that if selected will reset the properties of the pasted geometry. But I can't find the right catia command to do this.

I've tried recording a macro to see whats going on while I right click a body, select reset properties, highlight apply to children, and click OK. But I just end up with an empty macro.

Any tips?

Cheers.

'use selection to select the object

selection.Add ....

'then reset the properties using
CATIA.StartCommand "Reset Properties"
