I can create carriage returns all day long in VB CatScipt you name it but for the life of me I'm trying to create on inside a formula to fill out the description field on a part and I'm having no luck.

Does anyone have a method of doing this.

Or is this just a limitation.

Dassault are you listening it sure would be nice to have this ability.

Thanks,
Dana

Mmmh you're right it is not possible in a formula because the field is a monoline editor...

It works in a rule... What a pity, you must pay KWA licence to be able to do that... ;-)

Do you know what the command is in a rule to create a carriage return?
Thanks,
Dana

You just have to write the carriage return directly in the rule...

part1\description = "bla bla bla
bli bli bli"
