Is there a way I can turn on the "Update relation at global update command" relations/formula property within a macro? I am trying create a end user macro that creates this parameter and formula relation:

Volume.1 = SmartVolume (PartBody)

When I create the parameter manually, I get a pop up box that asks if I want to activate "Update relation at global update command", I say yes and the formula updates with geometry updates and life is good!

When I record a macro, it will not record this option turning on or off. I even tried recording and manually turning it on and off and when played back, will not change this toggle.

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

I have included a pic of the option that I am trying to activate

Thanks a bunch,

Updating my own thread.....

Just found the tools---->options---->general----->parameters and measure----->knowledge tab---->"creation of relations updated at the global update" option.

Amazing what happens when I take the time to search Catia help.

:-)
