Does anybody know if you can publish/expose checks in UDFs?  I would imagine this could work the same as when you publish a parameter in the UDF where the parameter is displayed under the UDF upon instantiation when you click the plus/expand button.

I can get the check to display its warning/information message while in a UDF but cannot expose it to the user so they can the red/green light.  It also does not change the global red/green light either.

I had the same issue and the only way I found so far is to display the status of the check as an output parameter of the UDF. You will have to create an other check based on the status value (true or false) and this will enable the global red/green light. The message can also be displayed in a parameter of the UDF but I wasn't able to reuse it in the recreated check so I just reuse the same message in the new check.
