I'm trying to create a Parameter's Formula that includes an "IF statement". Can anyone tell me where I can find any documentation to create such a formula ?

Hello,

it is not possible...

A formula that contains an if statement is a Knowledge Advisor rule.

You'll need KWA license.
Then, you'll be able to use a Rule or Reaction to do that.

Thank you for your replies.
I do have the KWA Licence - and my current issue is that I'm having difficulty finding any "useful" information/documentation relating to the creation of Rules using 'Conditional Statements' (IF Statements).

I think the only thing to know is that the "is equal" operator is == and not =

so for example :

if param1 == param2
{
param4 = ...
param5 = ...
}
else if ...
{
...
}
else
Message("here is the final else")

Great - Can I ask where you can find out info like this ? I haven't seen it in any of the help docs.

look for "Engineering Knowledge Language" in the documentation. Choose the result in Knowledge Advisor documentation
