Hi all,

         Presently in my application I am retrieving names of the Hybrid Shapes from excel file and using those names , i am retrieving hybrid shapes from CATIA V5. Now my problem is if the case(Lower or Upper) does not match the hybrid shape will not be retrieved. Is it possible to make it independent of case. or is it possible by changing any settings in CATIA V5.

In knowledgeware you have the ToUpper and ToLower string functions.

If you are using VB there are the UCase and LCase functions. Or if you are using regular expressions you can set the IgnoreCase option to True.

is there any settings change we can do like we do it for setting the "no naming check" in CATIA to avoid "Result of" in case of copy paste.
