Has anyone been successful translating ProE Solids to Catia V5 with modifiable parameters using STEP? if yes what options were used to make this successful?

We've been doing this lately - I'll try to find the parameters for you - but I can tell you that not all of the PROE parts are converted into CATParts and CATProducts. In the test set that I just ran, ~1% (9 out of 802 parts) did not show up as CATParts or CATProducts. It appears that the problem is in the export of the STEP file: I grepped for the expected name in the file and found that the name in the STEP file didn't quite match the name in the assembly.

Thank you Rick, have you been able to identify what may be causing the root cause failures.

Sorry for taking so long - we're using the out-of-the-box settings.
And no, we've not come up with a cause.
