Mika,
So far everyone using or having experience with Catia seems more than willing to help us who are less experienced in using this app. Can you remember the name of the company that is successfuly using shading via eXceed? I'll bet they would be more than willing to point us in the right direction if contacted directly. I'll let you know when I get an answer from Hummingbird.
