When creating an IGES file from a CATIA V5 assembly, each CATPart will be blown out into space in the IGES file. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to where they go.? All of the assembly constraints are ignored, but the CATParts that were modeled at absolute, are not at absolute.! Anyone that can explain this at all, please do. Maybe I am missing a setting somewhere.
