Is it possible to create a numeric code within Catia, suitable for use on a fanuc omd controller?
It is linked to a dugard eagle 600 machining center, and we are running Catia V5 release 11

Can you reccommend any software if any is needed.

Many Thanks

Mark

Mark,

You'll probably get more responses if you post your question under the CATIA MFG "board". All the NCers are there.

CATIA will output a "generic" APT file or CATIA clfile that is acceptable to most postprocessors. It sounds like you need a post for the Fanuc control. For starters you could look at the list of postprocessors in CATIA in C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B11\intel_a\startup\Manufacturing. the documentation explains how to generate post/nccode output.
