For those who attended the session at COE, there was some excitement in the annoucement that the CATIA Benchmarking effort would be renewed. Based on this document on COE's web site, it sounded like the first study would be out as of July 2008.

Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to have happened; that or I just can't find anything on this site. Does anyone have any more information on this?

Aaron, I'm the guy that presented the benchmarking activity in Orlando this year & will be performing the benchmark for COE.

Unfortunately we've had some delays in getting this activity started, but we're still planning on going ahead.

Current plan is to present the results at the Aerospace & Defense workshop in late October & have the results available to member companies on the website shortly thereafter.

Are there any specific aspects that you are interested in?

Thank you for the update Phil. I'll be looking forward to seeing the report when it's ready.

My hope was to use the data to help guide my Company's path in setting up our new workstation standard. I'm embarrassed to admit that I simply don't have a good method established for benchmarking, so I was going to use the study findings to augment my suggestions.
