Subject: Scaling a Sketch using a Parameter?

I am trying to easily scale a sketch using a parameter, no luck.  I have a spline connected by a line, like a half moon shape for example.  If it can be done, how do I scale the sketch from outside the sketch?   I don't want to go into a sketch which may have a 100 pt spline and fully constrain it and link every constraint to the same parameter.  That is a very ugly solution!

One idea:

1) Go to you sketch and fix (constraint, not repair) the geometry.

2) Exit the sketch and make a new REAL type paramemter called scale or something like that

3) Do a GSD scale operation on the sketch.  You'll have to define a center point.

4) Tie the scale factor of the scale function to the parameter.

Maybe this will work for you?
