Hi!

I wonder if there is a way to make V5 automatically switch to the right workbench. I.e. when I set a solid body to be "in work object" it should switch to part design. And vice-versa, when I set a geometrical set or element to be in work object it should switch to GSD.

That I don't know, but I suspect you could create a keyboard hotkey for it... that would be pretty fast as well... you can search for hot key or customizing keys to find a post on adding hotkey shortcuts.

Since there are many workbenches that may interact with geometrical set or element it might be right for one designer that may not be right for another. Hot keys may be your best hope short of using BKT to define a complex set of business rules to control this behavior.
