hi Iam new here I have not seen any issues with contextual links in geometrical bundle assy

I have a model that has losts its contextual links to its parent, that is Iam getting "Out of Context Instance" when I use define contexual links to redirect links, not all published links relink up.

can I manually relink them or can delete non connected links to repair contextual links.

I think that message means you didn't open the part file with the original assembly (or context) where the links were defined.

(If you look in the tree at this instance, you'll probably see the icon has a brown gear in it)

You have two easy ways to fix this: 1. open the assembly that was used to define the links,  or 2. open the part in a different assembly, right click on the part, component, and Define Contextual Link.

Jack,

thx, however part and product are opened together correctly, yes Iam aware of RB define contextual links, this would usually fix any issues, but my problem is, when I have RB Defined contextual links not all links are repaired there is a small number still left unresolved. this seems to be an issue in electrical workbench, when up reving in lca etc.

it also seems to happen when a user as isolated a point with a support.....

my question is .... Is there away to manually link samll number of links that didnt fix, any good guides on how to do this online, would be great. thx

Are you using Publications with your linked geometry?

Edit + Links is probably the best/easiest way to fix (replace) linked elements or pointed documents.
