Subject: defining other properties of component

Hi everyone.

There is one strict difference between R17 and R18 in assembly design. For R17 release, if I use right click menu on the component of product, i can reach the properties page and then i can define other properties by the same named button on this page. I can then also edit this value box by contextual menu and can use "edit formula" option which is very useful. But now in R18 SP4,5,6 i can not reach edit formula application in right click menu in this value box. Does everyone have an idea about this issue? Please look at the attached pictures for the difference.

Apparently this is an enhancement.

I don't know why.

You can still add a formula for property parameters using the formula editor (f(x) icon). For now at least.

yes Cliff thank you I can apply the other solutions but i just wonder about that is that a bug or not for R18... I think, yes it is missing point for this release.

I would report it as a Bug and see what they say.

The reason I called it an enhancement is because I looked at the Dassault knowledge base where someone had already reported it as a bug and it was rejected.

A note there said the documentation was being updated to indicate the new behavior.
