When moving constrained Catparts from one Catproduct to another, is there a way to move constraints from one assy to another?

Usually, I don't need any help goofing things up, but in this case, I inherited a gizmo, with moving parts.

It should be 4 sub Assemblies, in an Main Assembly

Lets say there is one Assembly to start with called "Airplane and wheels and stuff"

all the Catparts and constrain in that one and only main program

I want to make a main Assembly called airplane wheel parts and 4 sub assemblies:

doors,  Brakes, Wheel, Landing gear

This is not what I am doing, I am actually looking at a metal cutting invention

So I created a new main , copied the entire Catproduct into the new main.

Then I created 4 subs, and cut and pasted the Catparts into

So its all there and all good, but I need to look and the old assembly and recreate the constraints that got hammered

is there a way to move constraints from one assy to another???

Any help is appreciated

Best Regards

Dave

yeah.. switch it on in tools>options>Mechanical Design>Assembly Design>Constraints

it may not be 100% what you're after but it'll help

Thank a lot Dave

I will have to play around with it and see the functionality of those settings.
