hi all

the drawing i am working contains views of an assembly with design table.

I placed all the dimenisons/annotations for the drawing. the drawing asked for update. I updated all the views. All my dimensions moved to differenet places. the position of dimenisons is lost.

What is the problem?

I have broken the view and taken some sectional views.

I am using Catia v5R16 SP6

Hello, Your problem may have been reported to Dassault Systemes and addressed by APAR HD77251. The APAR closed as a suggestion for improvement.
Please look at the APAR and see if it applies.
The properties defined for value positioning are only taken into account at system creation step or by "restore value position" command. They are not taken into account by dimension after an update of geometry.
Try the "restore value position" command on the dimension system and see if it helps.
