Is there a difference if we use the Helix command in Generate Shape Design Workbench vs the Helix command from the Wireframe and Surface Design workbenches??

There doesn't appear to be a difference with Helix.

Generate Shape Design and Wireframe and Surface Design workbenches share many functions. They are also part enviroments and from the command line you can issue any command function from this enviroment that you have a license for: c:point; c:helix; c:spline; etc...
