I am considering creating virtual machines for some of my workstations (plant floor, manufacturing, quality etc.) who will be using CATIA casually. Has anyone played around with crating images of machines like this? What about within an engineering setting? The idea is we would use roaming profiles from a network share to store individual settings to be applied to the environment once they log in. The intent is to reduce IT overhead, while allowing users to move from machine to machine and forcing them to save their data within SmarTeam or atleast a network share. |
