Catia V4 faceting and V5 faceting:  Is faceting of solids (especially cylinders) in V5 is better than V4? Or there are no faceting issues in V5?

Do you have to change settings to get a smooth cylinder in V5?

Can anybody shed some light in to this?

The visual discretization in V5 is fully controllable with an option setting in V5. Also, there is no more Buffer Regen required.

Basically, it's a trade off between discretization and performance. The better the graphics card, the less you need to worry about performance.
