I have been having trouble making features appear in an assembly (product) and not show up in the parts. If I make a drawing of a detail part, I don't want the assembly features to show up. This type of issue comes up also if you model a cast part and then want to machine features into the casting but maintain it as a part with assembly cuts. (as opposed to maintaining two separate parts) I have done this type of operation, however somewhat unreliably, in Pro-E but haven't had much experience in Catia V5R7.
I haven't had much luck with the on-line help manuals discussing visibility of these features. Any ideas?
