Subject: V5R7SP5-drafting dual dimension bug

We just got service pack 5 loaded and found out that if you go into properties for a dual diemsion it automatically eliminates the decimal places set for the dual value. Let's say your dim was 24mm[.945"] If you picked that dimension and did properties the VALUE tab would now show no deciaml places for inch value and once you hit the OK button the dimension reads 24mmΏ"].

I spotted this last month & PMR'd it.

APAR is HC89188, DS will have the fix in V5R8 SP1 & V5R9 GA.

This problem was not in V5R7 SP2, but is in SP4 & SP5.

Not sure about SP3

In SP3 it's the same problem. Each time you get into properties the precision value for the dual dimension is 1 so if you had 192,27, you will obtain 192.
