Hello,

What is the best and/or easiest way to change a checked in (or released) CATpart into a released Standardpart?

I think you have to open check out and open the CATPart. Then delete the SMARTEAM object and Create a new as a StandardPart.
The CATPart and StandardPart is saved in Smarteam as two different tables. This means you cannot just change the classid.

Up until now that has been out method too. It's nothing we look forward too either.

Thhaks the both of you,

That is in fact the way we do it now.

Strange thing is that you need catia to change a part into a standardpart.
You would think that you only had to make a copy.
