Hello......

I  have searched high and low for information in the Editor documentation that explains how to set up both SmarTeam and the ACAD title block in order to have bi-directional propagation for different fields. All the documentation references it, but it dances around it and doesn't really explain it.

If anyone can help. I'd be very grateful. Thank you

I'm going to assume that ACAD stands for AutoCad which I know NADA about. I do know that the Start --> All Programs --> SmarTeam --> Admininstration Tools --> Integration Tools Setup utility controls which fields are passed back and forth between parts, products and drawings in CATIA. It would seem logical ....... hmmm wrong step, logic and title blocks have nothing to do with each other. I have been told (repeatedly) that in the CATIA world, properties propagation in CATDrawings is Black Magic. I know by default the CATIA title block gets its data from the default name (Part number, Revision, and description). It takes quite a bit of work to get it go out to SmarTeam and obtain information from there. (Don't ask me how I know how much work!)
