Hello all

I notice that if a user send an object to workflow and another user from this work group check out this object the checked out object doesn't have a link to the workflow.

Is that making sense?

Are there some options that control this behavior?

Thanks in advance

Rami

The objects linked to a workflow are version specific. Thus, if object XYA  version A.001 is linked to a flow, and you check out the document, creating A.002, the new version will not be linked to the flow. You have to put the new version of the doc in the flow.

Is there a way to prevent, or warn a user that the document is currently under workflow?

with the object selected, click on its 'Links" tab, and at the bottom pick "Workflow", then you should see all workflows that the object is linked to. See screen shot.
