Hi there,

We've been using CORBA for 1MB Blocksize for VaultClient.properties since May this year.

We decided to use the default settings and not HTTP because of 2 reasons:
1) A COE document stating that HTTP fails 1/1000 time
2) After all testing on HTTP was completed, HTTP load had failed twice.

This week and last week I have been testing HTTP with LCA R16 SP4 HF11 Client and Server.

I have loaded with 1MB, 3MB, 7MB Block sizes, assemblies of size 25Parts, 50Parts, 100Parts, 150Parts, 200Parts, 250Parts, 300Parts, 350Parts, 400Parts, 450Parts, 500Parts, and 1000Parts.

Altogether I have made 40,000 loads using HTTP, and have experienced no errors.

A big worry, is that I am doing all these tests with the same user. If multiple users are put into play, the http daemon could have problems, fall over, need restarting once in a while, I dont know.

Has enyone else tested HTTP loading with VPMNavigator to failure?

Even if you are using HTTP and have had no failures so far like me, I'd appreciate your response.
Using HTTP to load is as DS say about 10% faster, I'm just worried about possible side affects.

Thanks,

Kie
