Subject: can't login with web viewer

Can't login to web viewer.  Get the following message:

Connection with Server Manager failed
org.omg.CORBA.BAD_OPERATION: remote exception - Invalid operation
    The server `(unknown)' is not registered in the implementation repository.
    (Use the 'putit' command to register a new server.)  minor code: 10241  completed: No.

 

The Server Manager process is running:

  nobody 56268 34236   0   Aug 27      - 30:14 GW0SRVMG CATIAServerManager -env ENOVIA_3d_com.V5R17.B17 -direnv /clocal/enovia/3dcom_v5r17-vpm/CATEnv -timeOut 4500000

any ideas on what the problem is?

Hello,

Check if your Orbix files ( Orbix.cfg, config/common.cfg ) is correct as per your hostname, domain name and whatever mentioned as hostname is getting resolved from the system through dns or /etc/hosts file.
