Friends,

Can anybody tell me the exact meaning of Markups in MatrixOne. I can see the EBOM markups, drawing Markups but not a single document explain the exact meaning of Markups

Dear MK,

In M1 markup means its a proposal for EBOM Change ... ex:- if u want to change one part in EBOM (consider A2.part insted of A1.part) you need to create one ECR for this BOM in that you can able to indicate your changes with colour identification in that BOM structure. This is called EBOM Markup.The same in Designer central - Drawing life cycle you can able to indiate your drawing changes using markups.

Finally the markup is a genaral term for EBOM and Drawing.

can we conclude that Markups are used to track the changes and it is independent of any centrals
