I've tried to install VPM 1.5 PTF14 in a Oracle 8.1.7 database (completely new installed).
The VPMInstall.sh -oracle script is running well. The connection modules, first and second connection tests are ok.
But I have always problems with the VPMInstall.sh -nocheck script. It stops at the same point (Logfile /tmp/LogInstallFile20672.sh):
OraclePlayVpmAdmDDL dropView_CDMA.sql /localhome/vpmadm/InstallVPM/ddl eads /oracle/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7
return $?
Sometimes it stops at the creation of the VPMADM or CATIA user. Do you have any idea that could solve this problem?
Do you know about general problems with the installation of PTF14 together with Oracle 8.1.7?
Are there any tricks, bugs I have to care attention to?
In the meanwhile I have no other idea than to install PTF10 and to migrate it to PTF14.
