Hi masters,

How to embed Excel file in Document Template?

I have tried to use external documents, after pick "ADD" button, and choose a Excel file, but got nothing. My CATIA version is R16SP8.

It is not possible to do it with Document Template (external documents support is restricted to CATIA files).

You probably can use a macro in a reaction triggered by template instantiation, that will copy the Excel file, and replace the Design table file by the new file.
