This session details Dassault Systèmes’ V5 product suite strategy for an integrated PLM and Sourcing functions in one collaborative enterprise environment. In addition to covering the the latest product enhancements that encompass new features and support of additional use-cases, potential users can also learn how to implement concepts such as design for supply, design for standardization and design by re-use - all from within the PLM context. The sourcing community will be able to drive their Sourcing & Financial obectives and enforce standards compliancy through the engineering community and engineering processes. The session will focus on typical real-life use cases faced by engineers in optimizing designs by choosing the most appropriate parts and by taking advantage of sourcing information; and in influencing the standard component management processes as well as all the downstream business processes with Supplier Integration and Collaboration.
