COE Ask the Experts Webcast Series - February

Title: V5R19 MultiAxis Machining
Presented by: Mark Chitjian; IBM Corporation
Date: Tuesday, February 9th
Time: 11:00 a.m. EDT

Abstract:
The MultiAxis Flank Contouring machining operation is used extensively by all aerospace NC programmers. In R19, Dassault Systèmes has introduced the MultiPocket Flank Contouring product for aerospace programming. This new functionality is not intended to replace MultiAxis Flank Contouring, but to add increased capability and enhanced productivity when working with complex aerospace type geometries and topologies. The objective of this webinar is to explore MultiPocket Flank tool paths through specific examples and demonstrations. The Dassault Systèmes presentation and vision shown in 2009 will be included. The results of the MultiAxis Machining Survey given in November 2009 will also be displayed and discussed.  This session should interest any persons involved in the programming of Multiaxis aerospace parts.
