Earlier this year, Processia, a COE partner and official Consulting and System Integration partner of Dassault Systèmes, announced the acquisition of NobleTek PLM Solutions. As a result, Processia gained more than 300 people specialized on PLM and the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform, and expanded their presence to Netherlands, India and Sweden.
You can learn more about the acquisition in a press release here.
We spoke briefly with Processia CEO, Vincent Fraser, on the significance of the acquisition and what it holds for the future of the company.
What are you looking forward to most with the acquisition of the NobleTek entities?
This acquisition will improve our capacity to meet growing demands with a large pool of expertise on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. It will also provide extended managed services to host and maintain the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform of customers with the addition of a qualified team in India, and strengthen our positioning in EuroNorth with operations in UK, Benelux and Sweden.
How do you see the 3DEXPERIENCE platform helping improve workflow? How are solutions like the 3DEXPERIENCE helping shape the future of the industry?
With BI and the introduction of AI, we see that users of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will be given the right information in the right context, allowing them to perform quality work more efficiently.
Everything is about digital continuity – building a digital twin allows efficiency gains across design, engineering, manufacturing and supply-chain management, while capturing product behaviors and anticipating customer experience expectations. Integrating a business platform, and taking an out-of-the-box approach supported by Dassault Systèmes and Processia, allows us to expand horizons and change the way we deliver value. The transition is hard, but the reward can be high if managed properly. We look forward to the coming years, as we have a very aggressive plan for 2020. Stay tuned.
