Forum’s Activity
The COE Forum has 19 Discussion Areas and 2079 registered users. A 'help' button provides information about use including how to sign up. The following table itemizes the Discussion Areas and reports the total number of Threads to date.

The CATIA v5 continues to have a very high participation rate. This Discussion Area has had 3794 Threads since the start of the new Forum. Figure 1 shows recent discussions in the area related to CATIA v5.

Forum’s FAQ
Status as of the COE FORUM FAQ as of April, 2006 can be seen in Figure 2.
Visit the Forum FAQ for answers to questions about using the Forum.
- Example question: How can I participate in the Forum?
- Answer: COE's Discussion Forum is open to the entire community. To participate, you will need to "join" the Forum, where you will be asked to create a specific profile and determine your Forum settings. You must create a profile on the Forum even if you are already a COE member. Join the COE Discussion Forum!
When using the Forum's 'Search' facility to search the entire FAQ, remember to set the Discussion Areas switch to 'Select All'.

The following list provides links to discussions about the Forum.
There are two on-going discussions about the format of the FAQ: 1) the FAQ may be periodically collected into a document that will be prominently visible and will be available for downloading, 2) the FAQ may include a type of presentation which uses the hypertext mode (this would allow joint editing by interested parties, ala wiki).
