Recent Activity

Presentations given at the COE of North Texas meetings are available for review. At the February 17, 2006 meeting, Walter W. Wilson of Lockheed Martin talked about a Proposal for CATIA V6. For other presentations, see the website. http://www.vought.com/ntcoe/

2006 meetings for the Great Lakes Area COE (GLACOe) are scheduled for Jan 17, Mar 28, May 16, Jul 18, Sep 29, and Nov 14. The two recent meetings have covered interesting subjects. In January, INCAT discussed Join vs. Heal and related issues of topology. In March, the group heard about CATIA V5 R16 Product Highlights.

Attendees at the March 8 meeting of the Western Michigan CATIA User Group (WMCUG) heard about Hints and Tricks of CATIA V5, Generative Sheet Metal, and Knowledge Based 2-1/2 Axis NC Programming. See the WMCUG site for related documents.

For more information on acting locally, see the RUG Discussion Area in the COE Forum or http://www.coe.org/resources/other.cfm and get involved.

GLACOe May Meeting

This is a reminder for our upcoming May 16 meeting. This meeting will be held at OCC (Oakland Community College) in Auburn Hills in the T-building in room T1. Please visit the OCC website for directions at www.occ.cc.mi.us/Maps/AHCampus/ and refer to the agenda below for this meeting's details. I look forward to seeing you there. Refreshments will be served starting at 8:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at 9:00am. A 15 minute open forum will be held at the end of the meeting to give you a chance to ask general questions to DaimlerChrysler, Ford, IBM, and Dassault Systèmes.

For meeting minutes and presentation slides from prior GLACOe meetings, visit our website at http://www.glacoe.org/meetings.html. Please distribute copies of this email to other associates who may be interested in attending GLACOe meetings. These meetings are conducted at no-charge to attendees. The Great Lakes CATIA Operators Exchange is an organization that promotes the exchange of technical information between users of Dassault Systèmes products (CATIA, ENOVIA, SMARTEAM and DELMIA).
