Analyze Impact of Material Plasticity on Design Performance with CATIA V5
Fully embedded in CATIA V5, MSC.Generative Nonlinear (GNL) allows CATIA users to simulate large deformations with the complex effects of material plasticity directly on designs in CATIA V5. This software is a natural extension of linear static analysis and includes support for 3D tetrahedron elements, virtual parts, various boundary conditions and loads. All these analysis data can be easily used for various types of analysis such as linear statics, normal modes, buckling, and thermal and can be stored in one or more analysis documents or files.
Other capabilities of MSC.Generative Nonlinear include interactive definition (or import from a text file) and graphical view of elasto-plastic material properties. Advanced control parameters such as follower forces, large strain, load control, load steps, and convergence criteria are also available addressing advanced analysts' needs.
