V5R8 Extract to Model Procedures

1. Copy V5R8 ICON from desktop
2. Paste new ICON to desktop
3. Rename the ICON to: 'CATIA V5R8 Extract'
4. Select Properties on the ICON
5. In the Shortcut tab, change the Target info to say: "…:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B08\intel_a\code\bin\CNEXT.exe" -batch -e ExtractModelFromSequential
6. Select OK
7. Launch the CATIA V5R8 Extract Icon
8. Select the folder to extract the .exp file to
9. Browse for the .exp file to extract and select it
10. Highlight the file and select 'Extract'
11. This will give you a log file to save if you wish
12. Close the log file window
13. Start CATIA V5R8 (if not already started) and open this extracted file

Has the following limitations:

1. Doesn't read 'EBCIDIC' code page files
2. The file extension has to be .exp (rename if necessary)
3. You can't select the .model file to extract (it will automatically extract all files)
4. Will not run within current open CATIA V5 session
5. Will not automatically open the .model file in CATIA session (must be opened manually)
