Keeping V4 Project Tables Clean
It is important to keep your project tables clean and uncorrupted from incoming information. This is especially important when importing models into your system from suppliers, OEM's, etc. Why? To ensure your models will execute as clean as the first day you loaded the project tables and set-up the environment. This will also help you look like heros when you send files back to your OEM and they run clean as a whistle. No hassles, no problems.
How do you guarantee clean models?
At EADS Matra Datavision we suggest the following steps:
- In the import panel set all of the create new's to "NO".
- Have the replace option and force transfer set to "NO".
By adhering to this you will keep your project tables clean and uncorrupted with extraneous project table information.
