Session Description:  Technology has empowered the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural structures that would have been, at best, challenging through classical techniques. As technology continues to evolve, the means and methods to take advantage it must also continue. This workshop, featuring A. Zahner Company projects, examines case studies of the technologies, methods, and techniques of dynamic and adaptive models to deliver design intent. With the use of case studies, participants will be able to:
• Identify “downstream” development and design issues in a proposed project scope, using examples from several completed projects as case studies
• Reduce Design and Engineering costs through use of parametric automation templates, using examples from several completed projects as case studies
• Mitigate and eliminate project delivery issues through coordination with a 3D master modeling platform, using examples from several completed projects as case studies
• Utilize a 3D Master Modeling platform to facilitate coordination between stakeholders, using examples from several completed projects as case studies
