Session Description:  This session will walk through the process of preforming topology optimization on a part using the Functional Generative Design (GDE) app. The first half of the session will cover creating a design space, analysis setup, creating optimization constraints, as well as conceptual shape selection. After generating a valid shape that meets the analysis criteria, the detailed designed tools found within the app will be demonstrated. The final result will be a solid model that is ready for additive manufacturing.
