FNSS Defense Systems; a joint venture of BAE Systems and Nurol Groups is a private Defense Company designing and producing armed land vehicles, being the market and export leader in Turkey.
FNSS started its full V6 transition project from Smarteam & Catia V5 by the end of 2011. FNSS has a powerful and talented PLM team now dedicated for V6 transition project, the aim of which is replacing Smarteam & Catia V5 with Enovia & Catia V6 by the end of the Q4 of 2014. Live pilot project studies are ongoing right now as of Q3 2013.

Within the project scope, it is intended to migrate all legacy PLM data (Catia, BOM files, engineering documents etc..) keeping the history and relations; managing all design and engineering data in a central environment with workflow mechanisms, improve BOM list Management and manage vehicle diversity (variants) more effectively.

As one of the former V6 companies, FNSS has experience on implementation, customization and migration with both FBDI and DBDI tools. FNSS PLM Department would like to share its experience and also gain added value by taking valuable feedback from COE audience.
