Malayasia Automotive Institute Signs MoU With Dassault Systèmes to Harness Industry Intelligence

The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), an agency of Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dassault Systèmes to collaborate on an initiative to harness the collective intelligence of the Malaysian automotive industry. Per the memorandum, Dassault will launch an automotive app based on the 3DExperience platform via the MAI Social Networking Platform. This app is meant to help enhance the productivity and user experience of industry professionals. MAI CEO Madani Sahari said the app would allow professionals to discuss and gain information about the latest developments within the industry. Under the memorandum Dassault will also work together with Malaysian partner Feiran Technology to develop best practices for the nation's automotive industry. "Our 3DExperience platform will serve as a catalyst to leverage and enhance the knowledge and skills already in place to help the Malaysian automotive industry to achieve its long-term goals," said Samson Khaou, Dassault Systèmes managing director for Asia Pacific South.
