Infrastructure, Develop, Deploy & Knowledge
What is the COE Annual Experience & TechniFair?
Keynote Presentations from industry leaders including:
Hansong Huang, Ph.D.
- Pre-Conference Workshops: In-depth workshops on topics such as Topology Optimization Using the Functional Generative Design (GDE) Application, CATIA V5 to 3DEXPERIENCE transition and more
- Dassault Systèmes certification exams
- The latest user experience feedback and findings from the 3DEXPERIENCE Discovery Panel
- COE Forum’s Q+A with Dassault Systèmes executives and industry leaders
What's in it for me?
Become an expert! The COE Annual Experience & TechniFair presents a unique opportunity for customers to hear from fellow experts across the customer, partner and Dassault spectrum. In addition to important industry and product updates, attendees benefit from real world customer case studies, best practices sharing sessions, hands-on training, and the opportunity to engage one-on-one with peers to solve problems and share ideas.
Can’t-Miss Infrastructure, Develop and Deploy Process Sessions at the 2017 COE Experience & TechniFair
FNSS Defense Systems; a joint venture of BAE Systems and Nurol Group is a private Defense Company designing and producing armed land vehicles, being the market and export leader in Turkey.
FNSS started its full V6 transition project from Smarteam & Catia V5 by the end of 2011. FNSS has a powerful and talented PLM team dedicated for V6 transition project, the aim of which was replacing Smarteam & Catia V5 with Enovia & Catia V6.
FNSS is working on upgrade from 2014x to 2016x on our 3DExperience deployment. We have a highly customized environment. This kind of challenging upgrade process may attract attention from COE community.
We would like to share our experiences, best practices and lessons learned from the upgrade project with COE audience.
This presentation will demonstrate the power of the 3DExpereince Platform to connect and integrate an organization through the use of DS of out of the box web based productivity applications for BOM design and development, program and project management, library classification, integration capabilities to the platform ranging from MCAD Microsoft Office as well as 3rd party non-DS DB application such as Oracle and SAP.
This discussion will be presented in story form and based on a hypothetical story about a fictional design and manufacturing organization disconnected and detached from its own processes and tools and how they were able to connect their enterprise through the implementation of the ENOVIA 3DExperience platform.
Tales from the dark side. What we have encountered at customer implementations which have caused long outages that could have easily been avoided.
Basic functionality of the Knowledge Advisor workbench including rules, checks, reactions, and the knowledge advisor language. Use cases will be explored, namely Power Copies, User Features, and their impact on using standards in engineering applications. The creation of robust models when developing Power Copies and User Features will be covered briefly as well.
Building an application is evolution of automatization on example an application developed to simplify design process - starting from parameters through scripting macros, knowledge base template up to Visual Studio.
Building an application - is about building Catrina 2016™ is a plug-in for Catia V5RXX that helps increase efficiency and productivity in frame design, weldments, and modular systems development quickly and with ease. The parametric geometry of the 2D or 3D frames can be defined very easily. With a simple mouse click, begin generating beams with standard, predefined or custom profiles and also define an unlimited number of profiles as simply as making a sketch. The processes of trimming, extending and cutting are intuitional and do not need to be redefined after changing a base structure or editing a beam. Information about length is collected and transferred with a BOM to the Drafting Workbench.
The 3DPassport service provides authentication and single sign-on (SSO) services for the whole 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This session will provide the basics on how to administer 3DPassport for SSO, and perform a wide variety of tasks to manage the user’s experience from this service.
Topics included are:
- How to configure general settings and control their impact. Comprehension of the default repository.
- Configuration and test integration to an external LDAP repository.
- Creation (manual and bulk) of passport accounts, and their relationship to the 3DSpace P&O and the repositories.
- Synchronization options, and how they behave.
- Additional techniques for configuring 3DPassport parameters from a seasoned 3DExperience administrator.
