So I'm not sure I like the new notification message when someone posts something on the forum. However, it did give me this option to post something from my e-mail client so I just had to try it out.

Here it is. I'm not sure where it will get posted.

I wish this would post to the thread related to the message I received in my e-mail.

Steven - it looks like the original post in this thread was created as a new thread and then the reply email is posted under that thread.  I think what you had intended to do was put that original post as a reply in your testing thread (testing new sites e-mail notifications).

I was hoping that both this thread and that other tread would have both been posted under the “New site” thread started by Roger Bombassei.

I noticed that I hadn’t been gotten any COE forum posting notifications for a while and thought it was odd that the Forum had been silent for I while so I decided to go check it out. When I did, I found that it had been revamped. So I updated my profile and signed up for forum topic notification “Subscriptions”; “Immediate Digest with links”.

I started to receive posting notification again. One of the links in the message is “Send new post via email:”. I thought I should try this out and found that it does not replay to the posting I was reading, but started a new thread. I don’t find this helpful.

Also, I don’t get the full text of the posting in the message like I once did. This is also not very helpful.
