Right Angle Head

Right Angle Head

I am programming a pocket in a side wall using a right angle head on a three axis machine.

The program is finished now is the fun part, getting the output for a 3axis vertical.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi Artie

What post?

For Pworks, use

Mode/tool, vector
Rotable/ origin

For Icam, I can send you some docs.... it is pretty easy but specific codes are required.

RE: Right Angle Head

if you have a 90 head pointing at 3-oclock, with a 12.5 Z gage, and 5.25 from spindle face to 90 head tool C/L

Mode/tool, 1,0,0
Rotabl/ origin, -12.5, 0, -5.25
