I have seen a couple of posts where people have asked for the ability to right click on results of the Analyze Geometry function in an MO and be able to use the Center on Graph function like you have in the normal CATIA contextual menu. I'd like to suggest that you go a bit farther with this idea - you should have the ability to select a piece of geometry from the 3D view and get a contextual menu option (when you're in the NC workbench) to "Show Where Used" which would cause the MO's with that piece of geometry associated with it to highlight. This would help you to clean up models without inadvertently deleting NC required geometry.

Taking it one step further would be the ability to select an MO (or even PO), and through a contextual menu be able to have all the associated geometry selected. Then you could use the Change Geometric Set option to better organize your NC geometry.

I understand that some folks out there have scripts they use to accomplish some of these tasks however, many of us don't have the ability to write these scripts so we are stuck just plodding along. CATIA boasts about the integeration of CAD & CAM so let's see them really integrate the two!

Thanks for uploading the suggestion on the COE forum.

 It is interesting that I got the same request from Billy Pricer AKA V4ASAUR, who is at Boeing now.  All he is doing is altering programs someone made years ago.

Critical to productivity.

The problem to be solved as I understand it, is Dassault supporting a method quickly get to the drive geometry…. To EDIT IT.   All analyze geometry does is give you the name and path.  The programmer must search, or take a screen shot of the name and path, switch workbenches and navigate to it manually.

Maintaining Legacy NC processes

For many, maintaining Legacy NC processes is a full time job, and that is all they do. Dassault has already made this improvement for V6.

This requirement made the Top Ten list....I added it yesterday.

This is the power of feedback. So members know….I circulated the Top Ten list to some power users. Not all the feedback is on the forum. Many COE members like Billy, Samarinder, etc.  are constantly emailing and texting me…….as they programs….with requirements that come from the daily grind.

Thanks again for the good ideas to make our jobs more pleasurable 3D Experience.
