Bend lines in Drafting not showing up.

Bend lines in Drafting not showing up.

Help,

In Drafting I've created an "Unfolded View" of a flattened sheet metal part.

For the life of me, I can't seem to get the bend lines to show up in the view.

Going thru the view properties and the tools options, I can't seem to find any function to turn them on.

Display of Bend lines and the configuration of how those are displayed is control through the 'Generative View Styles' functionality of the drafting workbench.  By default, these are disabled for view creation.

To Enable:  Tools > Options > Mechanical > Drafting > Administration tab > Disable the 'Prevent Generative Views Style usage' option

There is a default Generative View style created with the installation that enables the generation of sheetmetal specific behaviors.  You can customize this in Admin mode under Tools > Standards > Category: GenerativeParameter  File: DefaultGenerativeStyle.xml

You can also customize multiple of these Generative View styles to predefine different display scenarios that could occur in your environment.

Thank you, that worked like a champ.

Now I have one more little problem. When I try to dimension from the edge of the part to the bend centerline, the dimension arrow on the part edge side doesn't show up. The arrow on the centerline side does. See attached drawing.

I'd check the Dimension Line and Extension line tabs in the Properties of that dimension.  Seem like one of the Dimension line symbols might be set to 'No Symbol' and one of the extension lines could be turned off.
