Perspective view in sketcher workbench

Hi Folks,
This problem is sporadic. I may have accidentally selected something with the mouse, but I can't figure it out.

When I create a part, I'll get 2 or 3 features created. I will then select a surface to draw a sketch on and then select the sketcher workbench. When the part re-orientates to display the selected surface or plane parallel to the screen, the part is display in a perspective view. (See attached jpeg).

If I select the "normal view" icon or the "fit all" icon or even select the specific side of the "box" with the "view orientation" icon, the part is still re-displayed in a perspective view orientation.

Most of the time I quit the part design, delete the file and start over, because I've only created a couple of features.

Is it because I selected a surface on the part instead of a datum plane?
I don't understand it since it happens sporadically.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Jay Crook.

From the View menu, hover over the Render Style option, and toggle on the Parallel option from the menu that appears next..

Thank you Mr. Garza.

That was becoming very frustrating. I haven't changed that setting on purpose. Am I accidentally changing this while dragging the mouse or something?

Thank you,
Jay Crook.

I have no idea what may be causing it. Sometimes your customized environment may become corrupt. This is pretty rare these days.

But, try deleting your CATSettings and see if the problem persists.

Good Evening Mr. Garza,

Thank you for the info. I'll try deleting CATsettings if I encounter this again.
