Standard.xml file for BS 8888?

Standard.xml file for BS 8888?

Hi,

Has anyone created a standard.xml file for BS 8888, or anything similar please?

I'm relatively new to Catia and finding it a little frustrating that nothing appears to be set up 'out-of-the-box', in the same way that it is in Solid Edge or SolidWorks.

Thanks.

(in response to Nick Hallworth)

Nick,

I off the cuff would say I don't think CATIA can out put to this format. I would encourage you to review user guide information about AP242e1 or above, which is part of ISO10303 for a very good xml file for 3D Modeling.

Much can be learned from the DS provided User Guides rom your version of CATIA on AP242.
BS 8888 is the British standard developed by the BSI Group for technical product documentation, geometric product specification, geometric tolerance specification and engineering drawings.
